Organizing and Writing a Course Syllabus

Creating a course syllabus is hard work, too.

Presenting class information on the first day of the course will help avoid questions and misunderstandings later.

In your syllabus include basic information such as the course name, number, texts, meeting times, expectations, assignments, rubrics, and most importantly: how to communicate when further questions arise.

Here is one possible format:
