Every writer should be familiar with the term: bildungsroman.

The term bildungsroman is generally used to describe a story which follows an individual’s journey from youth to adulthood.

There are two types of cards. Your young authors pick one yellow card and one blue card. Voila! They instantly have a point at which to start their story.
